Going into this afternoon's 13th race at Monmouth Park in New Jersey, Big Brown was the 1-2 morning-line favorite. Prior to the big race, trainer Rick Dutrow wasn't making any promises but he did say that he felt the horse looked good and was ready to win. Well, Big Brown delivered big time on that win by taking the $1 Million Haskell Invitational ahead of Coal Play and Cool Coal Man.
Big Brown's winning time for the 1 1/8 miles was 1:48 1/5.
